About

I’m Xavier, a Morehouse grad from Michigan currently based in Atlanta. I take pictures from time to time among other jobs and hobbies. My passion for photography has only grown over the years and developed into a unique yet simple style. My work isn’t overly edited. My subjects aren’t intricately posed or framed. I’m an observer above all, and my photos reflect my love for capturing timeless moments—scenes frozen in time.

I’ve been told that my lens “captures the moments”, not just stills. These scenes are everyday experiences, full of aspects that evoke more than a visual sensation. I want viewers perceive more than just the emotions when they see my photographs. I think photography is beautiful in the way that images can make people have a sense of time, place, movement, and even the weather. These details add depth and take photography beyond it’s place as a simple art form and transform it into an extraordinary and universal language that conveys meaning which can be understood worldwide.
